Love Carries

Ocean, photo by Stephen Edgar, from Flickr

Love Carries

Love carries like an ocean’s tide
Carries along two lovers
By the shoreline
The cold wind against them
Under overcast skies
As they bask in the sunlight
Of love filled eyes

  1. visiting from dVerse link up. This was beautiful. Felt like I was walking with you.

  2. nice contrasts between the cold and the sun...love carries us through both....

  3. So light and lyrical. Yes, love is like that...

  4. I can see how the beach moved you in such a way to write about it's beauty. Myrtle Beach is amazing I've been there a few times.

  5. ...the sunlight of love filled eyes...great ..and such a musical lilt to the poem...thankyou

  6. i also had a shoreline image for my poem this week... and along a similar theme. :) sweet write!
